Beta terms

Draft of 16 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of FAME during its beta. FAME is run from Australia. The name of the business behind it isn’t filled in yet. “We” means that business. “You” means you and the business you use FAME for.

In short

The beta

FAME is still being built. Features may change or be removed, and we may add limits. We may end the beta, or your access, at any time. Unless you’ve broken these terms, we’ll email you first.

Price

The beta is free until 2 November 2026. Paid plans and their prices, in US dollars, are on the Plan page. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan and pay through Stripe. A free trial lasts 7 days. If you start it with a card, the plan you picked starts when the trial ends and your card is charged then, unless you cancel before then on the Plan page. We email you 2 days before the trial ends. When a trial ends without a paid plan, you can still see and download what you’ve made, but making ads stops until you choose a plan. If you haven’t chosen one 90 days after the trial ended, we delete the brands you own and everything in them, after emailing you 7 days before. Your account stays. A paid plan renews each month, or each year if you pay yearly, until you cancel. When you cancel, you keep the plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you’re not happy, ask within 14 days of your first payment on a paid plan and we’ll refund that payment in full. Otherwise we don’t refund part periods, except where the law requires it.

On a paid plan you can buy packs of extra ads. Each pack lasts 12 months from the day you buy it, and its ads are used before your plan’s ads, oldest pack first. Packs can’t be used during a free trial. While your plan has stopped, a pack waits, and its 12 months keep running. Changing plans doesn’t affect it, and deleting your account deletes it. A pack is refundable on request within 7 days of buying it, less a 6% fee, as long as none of its ads have been used or are being made. Ask us within those days and we reply by email; while we look at a request, the pack’s ads aren’t used. After those 7 days, a pack isn’t refundable. This doesn’t limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your account

Your content

You own what you bring to FAME: your store’s content, product photos, brand kit, exports and reviews. You let us use it only to run FAME for you, which includes storing it and sending it to the services named in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to give it to us.

The ads we make

Check before you run

AI writes the words and makes the pictures. We check each ad against your product photo and your list of claims to avoid, but checks can miss things. Before you run any ad, make sure the product, words and claims are accurate and that you can back them up. Make sure it follows Meta’s advertising policies and the law where it runs. You’re responsible for the ads you run.

Verdicts on your angles come from fixed rules applied to the exports you upload. They’re a guide, not a promise: we don’t promise any ad will perform.

Competitor ads

Competitor ads come from Meta’s public Ad Library and belong to their owners. Use them for research. Don’t copy their words, images, logos or offers. “Make my version” takes only the angle from a competitor’s ad, so check the result before you run it.

Fair use

Don’t use FAME to:

We may suspend or close an account that does.

No promises on availability

We don’t promise FAME will always be available or free of errors, or that data won’t be lost. Keep your own copies: the download pack and the Your data page are there for that. FAME also relies on services we don’t control, such as Meta’s Ad Library, your store and our AI providers. If they change, features may stop working.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that can’t be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, we limit it to supplying the service again, or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or money spent on ads, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You’re responsible for claims that arise from the content you bring or the ads you run.

Ending

You can stop using FAME at any time, and download or delete your data on the Your data page. If you have a paid plan, cancel it on the Plan page too. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We’ll post the new version here with its date, and email you before a change that affects you takes effect. If you keep using FAME after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts can hear any dispute about them.
